Josh Morrison

Joe founded Lavante (then AuditSolutions) in 2001 and is a recognized expert in the field of P-to-P processes. Prior to founding Lavante, Joe served as Director of Operations for the statement audit group of Howard Shultz and Associates (HSA), then the nation’s leading recovery auditing firm. His experience in the manual audit recovery sector inspired him to pioneer an automated solution that yielded more recovery in less time. Selected as one of the 40 leading executives under the age of 40 in 2009 by the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal, Joe serves on the Board of Directors of the Silicon Valley Workers Investment Network and as an Ambassador to the San Jose Chamber of Commerce. He holds a BS degree in Economics from the University of Santa Clara.

Michael has been with Northeastern University for over 29 years and is currently the Director of University Disbursements, Non-Payroll. Michael received his Bachelor’s degree in 1984 from the University of Rhode Island – College of Business Administration and received his MBA in Finance in 1989 from the D’AMore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University.

Michael has been a member of the Institute since 1994. He has been on The Institute’s Board of Directors since 2010, serving as Chair from November 2012 through November 2014.

Josh is a seasoned P2P professional with specific expertise in business systems and implementations, process improvement, automation, transformation, supply chain relationship management, and analytics. Josh formerly held leadership roles at a Forbes Top 10 company, with oversight of Accounts Payable, Vendor Relations, Procure-To-Pay and Strategic Sourcing. Today, Josh operates a successful independent P2P consulting firm and works as a Senior Consultant with Lavante.

Josh hold an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, is a member of American Mensa, and serves as IFO New England Chapter President. Josh is a proud father of three and enjoys volunteer work and spending quality time with family and loved ones.
