About your Seminar Leaders:

Mary Schaeffer, AP Now's editorial director, is a nationally-recognized accounts payable expert. After a 15-year career in finance she began researching and writing newsletters for the accounts payable profession and consulting for companies of all sizes.

Ms. Schaeffer has an MBA in finance and is the author of over 15 business books including The CFO and Controllers' Guide to Accounts Payable and the recently published Fraud in Accounts Payable: How to Prevent It, published by John Wiley & Sons. She is a regular contributor to AICPA's Corporate Finance Insider.

Diane J. Geeis the manager of accounts payable at a large for a large supplier of integrated products. She has worked in accounts payable in several organizations for over 30 years starting as an AP clerk rising to the manager's position. She has implemented a number of leading edge programs during her tenure. She is focused on tight internal controls and making sure the payment function is efficient, fraud resistant and Sarbanes Oxley compliant.
