Stephen Boals – VP, Sales
PSIGEN Software Inc.
Stephen manages PSIGEN's global sales and professional services . He brings more than 20 years of broad leadership and technical expertise in quality assurance, PR, consulting, IT, technical security and Microsoft Technologies to the company and the capture industry. Prior to PSIGEN, Stephen ran the Software Solutions Group for one of the largest Konica-Minolta copier dealers in the United States, Caltronics Business Systems. He started the group and within 5 years was awarded with the Top Solutions Dealer in the U.S. by Konica. Prior to Caltronics, he served as Director of IT and Security for Responsys, an email marketing company with many Fortune 500 clients. At Responsys, he managed and built five world-class data centers to provide top notch service to the marketing client base. He was also a "Big 4" Consulting Manager with Ernst and Young, providing Knowledge Management Solutions in a partnership with Microsoft Consulting at the EY Microsoft Advanced Development Center in Bellevue, Washington.
He is a proud veteran, serving 8.5 years as a Flight Officer in the U.S. Navy. He holds a BS in Ocean Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, and an M.B.A. from National University.

David Buttgereit – VP and Senior Managing Partner

David Buttgereit is an accomplished business consultant with a firm, disciplined grasp of financial and business matters as well as profound knowledge of ECM and BPM theory, operations, and processes. He has a proven record of general and ECM-related business process and infrastructure development, project management, architecture planning, staff development, and team building.
David's ECM-related experience includes 15 years of document imaging and capture design and implementation; 10 years of operational and process ownership, including P&L responsibility; and 10 years of business process and workflow modeling, design and redesign.
David is also a published author focused on ECM and BPM.
Mike DeFazio – Sales and Implementation Engineer, Advanced Capture

Mike works in Hyland's Enterprise Solutions Group as a Team Lead for the Advanced Capture Team. Mike has been with Hyland 3 years and in his role is responsible for supporting the efforts of selling advanced capture solutions and services, as well as contributing to the technical direction and development of advanced capture products. Mike's team is also responsible for the discovery, implementation, and support of Hyland's capture customers.
Prior to joining Hyland, Mike worked as a Senior Sales Engineer for Fujitsu Computer Products of America.
Mike holds several certifications including ECMP, and is a Certified Document Imaging Architect and is a Microsoft Certified Professional
Steve Fiers – President & CEO
IMAGING USA, LLC
Steve Fiers is founder and President of IMAGING USA, LLC a leading provider of automated data capture solutions and document imaging services. Steve brings more than 20 years of experience in Document Imaging, Automated Data Capture and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO).
Steve has served on the board and is a past president of the AIIM Midwest Chapter. He has been a member of several standards committees for AIIM International. In 2010, Steve was presented with the AIIM Distinguished Service Award which recognizes individuals whose outstanding service benefited the advancement of ECM Technology, national and international standards development. Steve holds a BA in Accounting and MBA from St Ambrose University.
Jeff Geshay – Business Alliance Manager

Jeff began his career at OPEX in 1996 as a Sales Engineer. Since that time, he has advanced within OPEX holding various positions including Product Specialist, Vice President of Sales, and most recently the Administrator of Partner Relationships. During his tenure at OPEX, Jeff has also been part of development teams for several products. Two of those products include the AS Series Scanners (3600 and 3690) and the OPEX Eagle, the industry leading high-speed mail opening and imaging device.
He currently manages a diverse portfolio of authorized resellers. Some of these software companies provide purely remittance solutions. Other integrators are able to tackle those nearly impossible file folder and insurance related documents.
As Business Alliance Manager, Jeff travels extensively conducting training and educational workshops for the strategic authorized resellers in his network.
Charles Kaplan – VP, Marketing

Mr. Kaplan oversees Brainware's global marketing organization. His experience includes more than 15 years in information technology and analysis in such areas as product management, revenue management, and financial analysis. Prior to joining Brainware, Kaplan led business development for DecisionPath Consulting, where he worked with clients to provide business intelligence and data warehousing assessments and strategies. His experience also includes senior-level product management and marketing roles in the data capture market with SER Solutions, in the telecom industry with 2nd Century Communications, and in the travel industry with American Airlines and Marriott International. Kaplan is a noted speaker on data capture, presents frequently at IAPP/IFO events, and has taught professionally for The Data Warehousing Institute (TDWI).
Don McMahan – Managing Director

The former Vice President of Sales and Regional Business Manager for the Document Imaging business of Eastman Kodak Company for the US&C. Prior to Kodak, McMahan served as VP of Sales for both Fujitsu and Visioneer and has also served as Chair of the AIIM Board. He has won recognition three times as a Top 100 Channel Executive by CRN Magazine's sister publication VARBusiness. He is a contributing author to "The Big Book of Marketing, by Anthony Bennett. McMahan has presented at numerous AIIM events and also the Tawpi Conference in Tampa. He graduated from California State University at Fullerton with a B.A. in Communications.
Lee Schottenfels – Vice President

Lee Schottenfels is Vice President and Partner at CPI Data Services, a Michigan based BPO services firm with global production centers (China/India). With over 12 years experience in the BPO industry, Lee has overseen the companies' considerable revenue growth and service development in the Finance, Real Property and Health Care industries. He has a Masters in Services Administration from Central Michigan University and has served on outsourcing panels at AIIM, PRISM and other and other industry events. His expertise is on data capture methodology and efficiency, utilizing global resources.
David Talarico – Senior Vice President, Sales

David has over 23 years of experience in capture and OCR forms processing technologies. He has significant experience in using Optical Character Recognition technology as a way to automate and streamline the keying of data from forms. He has been involved in many very large forms processing opportunities including The People's Republic of China, Wells Fargo Mortgage and Iron Mountain, with volumes exceeding 560 million pages in 6 months. David has a Bachelor of Science from University of California at Davis and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
Ryan Turnbull - Account Executive

Ryan is currently in his second year of service as an Account Executive at Perceptive Software. Prior to working at Perceptive, he was a Financial Analyst for Sprint and then a Client Executive at Cerner. Ryan graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Missouri State University. In his free time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and his infant daughter Gracelyn.
Anne Valaitis – Associate Director

Anne Valaitis is the Associate Director for InfoTrends' Image Scanning Trends and Professional & Managed Print Services Consulting Services. Ms. Valaitis is responsible for managing custom consulting projects, providing forecast analysis, developing market sizing estimates, and creating editorial content for product and market analysis reports. She has over 22 years of experience in the office solutions and imaging and IT industry.
Prior to joining InfoTrends, Ms. Valaitis gained industry experience as a Product Manager for Océ North America. Anne was responsible for bringing to market a variety of hardware and software products. In this position, Ms. Valaitis played a critical role in developing, implementing, and overseeing a solutions driven organization. Prior to Océ, Anne was a Product Manager with Konica Minolta Business Solutions, where she focused on hardware and software solutions targeted at the office. Anne has extensive industry experience, particularly in solutions development.
Tom Walker – Portfolio Manager, SAP Invoice Management

For the past 11 years, as an OpenText Senior Process Architect and currently as OpenText Portfolio Manager SAP Invoice Management / Program Manager SAP Travel Receipts Management, Tom has assisted numerous Fortune 500 companies in the optimization and automation of their world wide SAP processes. Prior to OpenText, he worked for a multinational chemical company in financial areas and IT. His primary focus is SAP Accounts Payable including imaging, OCR and e invoicing. He is a frequent speaker at SAP Sapphire, Americas SAP User Group meetings and IAPP.
He has worked with SAP software for over 20 years and has over 10 years experience with SAP workflow. His financial experience includes cost accounting, accounts payable, general accounting, financial analysis, auditing and management.
