Advances include the maturation of the Internet, image capture, data retention, and online presentment operating models. Join us again this year as we assemble a panel of industry experts to talk about what's new, changing, and simply disappearing in the lockbox industry. Last year's panel discussion on this topic was insightful, thought-provoking, and at times both rowdy and hilarious. This year will be no exception. If you're involved in wholesale or retail payment processing, you already know that site closures, provider consolidation, U.S. Postal Services challenges, offshore labor opportunities, and hub-and-spoke processing are under way. AP and shared services professionals will gain an understanding of the industry that assists in processing the majority of your company's incoming cash. Specific topics will include contracting for services and service levels, the changing competitive landscape, new services and business models, and key differentiators between providers.

Many corporations previously reported that it is difficult to post and reconcile incoming wire transfers to accounts receivable because of inadequate remittance information. At this session, you will learn what has changed in the wire transfer systems and what you need to do to make use of this new functionality to reduce your exception processing.
