EASTER PENNSYLVANIA LOCAL CHAPTER
We are an active chapter with members in the Eastern Pennsylvania area - from Reading, Lancaster, Scranton, the Philadelphia area, South Jersey, and Delaware. Our meetings average between 50 - 60 per attendees.
We currently meet 5 times a year at our chapter members work locations. We have met at Hershey Company in Hershey, PA, Campbell's Soup in Camden, NJ , QVC in West Chester, PA., Day & Zimmermann, Pa. Some of the topics we have recently covered include Sarbanes-Oxley, EDI, workflow, P-Card programs, & T&E Processing. Other topics discussed included imaging, 1099's, reporting, purchasing and accounts payable, and recovery audits. At times we just like to share our ideas and experiences. Our vendor members are also very active, as they have generously hosted some of our meetings, and are actively promoting our organization with their clients.
Our local chapter actively supports local charities as well as families in need through donations of time and money, particularly the Northern Home for Children. We visit several times a year and sponsor a Christmas party for approximately 70 children, young mothers and their babies complete with gifts, food, music and entertainment! We not only cultivate business connections within our chapter, we forge friendships.
