The Institute of Financial Operations provides an expanded number of membership options created to meet the diverse needs of our members. Check out the choices we have available and pick the one that's right for you. ( NOTE: All values indicated below signify U.S. dollars.)

Individual Membership Options
Premium membership
- Cost: $195/one year ($50 application fee - new members only)
- Eligibility: Financial operations professionals living and working in the US, UK or Canada.
- Benefits: Full-service membership featuring access to all premium member benefits, including receipt of our Financial Operations Matters print publication and participation in local chapter events.
Virtual membership
- Cost: $145/one year
- Eligibility: Created for financial operations professionals living and working in countries other than the US, UK or Canada.
- Benefits: Includes access to all online tools and resources (including our comprehensive news portal), along with participation in our free members-only webinars and preferred member pricing on all webinars, e-seminars and self-study courses. Virtual members may elect to participate in local chapter activities, if available, at no additional cost.
Student membership
- Cost: $45/one year
- Eligibility: Any undergraduate student who is pursuing an interest in accounts payable, accounts receivable, accounting, data capture, automation, shared services, procure-to-pay, remittance or document management. You must be enrolled as a full-time student (12 credit hours per semester) and provide a copy of your current transcript when applying for and renewing this membership type. Contact us at membership@financialops.org to submit your request and documentation and initiate your membership.
- Benefits: Highly discounted membership offering unlimited access to our robust online news portal and resource center, along with valuable networking opportunities at local chapter meetings and events.
Group Membership Options
Corporate membership
- Cost: See chart below, or click here to calculate your dues based upon group size.
- Eligibility: Available to specific departments and divisions - or your entire company.
- Benefits: Extending this valuable membership to your financial operations employees provides outstanding learning opportunities and these exclusive benefits:
- Unlimited access to our website which includes a dynamic news portal, robust resource center and more.
- Participation in our FREE monthly webinars.
- Copies of our Financial Operations Matters print publication (for members in the US, UK and Canada).
- 10 - 20% discount off our annual Fusion conference registration fee.

- Waiver of the exam application fee for CAPP and/or CAPA certification programs (up to $50 savings, US-based members only).

Non-Profit group affiliation
- Cost: 50% off the published corporate group base rate + $15 per individual participant. See chart below.
- Eligibility: Designed to meet the unique needs of government, non-profit, and not-for-profit financial operations professionals working for organizations with an .edu, .gov, .org, .mil, .us, .ca URL.
- Benefits: Non-profit groups enjoy the same robust benefits as our corporate group members (excluding receipt of our Financial Operations Matters print publication), at a highly discounted base fee and an affordable $15 incremental individual member fee.
