We hope you had the opportunity to celebrate Recognition Week 2011 with your valued financial operations staff (October 17 – 21). Every day, in offices around the world, AP, AR, automation and procurement teams dedicate themselves to the tasks of processing invoices, paying vendors, managing data and keeping financial ops humming along smoothly. Where would an organization be without them? And yet, often times, their efforts and commitment get overlooked. Not anymore!

The Institute of Financial Operations has set aside the third week of October as a time to give these hard working professionals their due. It is a time for them to stand up and receive the kudos they deserve.
 
We call it Recognition Week, and we invite you to take advantage of this opportunity to recognize your AP, AR, automation, purchasing, and procurement teams for all that they do to keep cash flowing and the back office running.  To everyone in Financial Ops…we salute you!
